A Life Well-Lived & Traveled, With Style

500 Albums Challenge

500 Albums Challenge

The third and final arts challenge after my 100 Books and 200 Films is to listen to every album on Rolling Stone‘s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list in their entirety. I’m old enough to remember buying albums and spending hours listening to them from beginning to end while poring over the liner notes and cover art. Ahhhhh….. good times……. In this era of downloads and streaming, I miss listening to albums like that and and hearing how they unfolded to tell a story. So, I decided to start doing that again and what better place to begin than with a list like this? The list is in descending order so I plan on working through it backwards (more or less) and will listen to every one even if I’ve already listened to it in the past. As with my other two challenges you can join me at Day Zero Project to either follow along or take up the challenge yourself. I’ll also keep this list updated as I go.
