I like to think I’m on top of all the great interiors that have been published out there (ha!) but I recently spotted this on Pinterest and thought why I haven’t I seen these spaces everywhere? It’s so good! Well, in case, it got by you too, here you go.
How beautiful is every single thing in both of these rooms?
You don’t see lavender with black very often and I think it’s fantastic, don’t you?

I’m been researching hotels for a trip to Buenos Aires in a couple of months and I fell in love with the library at the Legado Mitico.
It’s sort of the ideal library in my opinion: massive, dark shelves filled with all sorts of interesting bits and bobs, a leather chesterfield and a mix of traditional and modern seating.
It all comes together in a masculine but not too masculine and clubby space where I certainly wouldn’t mind hanging out.

And we’re back! Thank god!
Here’s another room so good that it deserves a post all its own. French daybed, suzani covered chair and pillows, Persian(?) rug, and of course, books from floor to the ceiling….. the perfect library!

I let out one of those really unattractive Homer Simpson-like half-slobber/half-groans when I saw this space. Pink walls with a pink desk that blends right in, touches of navy, and that gold chair all floating on a white floor. That chair obviously wouldn’t be very comfortable without a cushion but I’d leave it bare too because it’s drop dead gorgeous like that. Who else is slobber-groaning?

(Something weird happened with this post which should have been for next week but somehow got published so I’m making it a bonus post for today.)Â
I rarely post just a single room but sometimes, it’s so good it deserves to stand alone. Like here:
Let’s break it down:
- Great mix of chairs that’s a perfect balance of colors, materials, finishes, high and low price points.
- Some kind of furry rug.
- Black drum shade pendant.
- That fabulous standing lamp.
- All neutral against white walls and stripped wooden floors.
