A couple of months ago, I did a roundup of pink and yellow rooms and it appears I’m still not sick of that combo.
I’m really liking it with some blue too like in the first and last rooms. If only I needed another color scheme!

My current favorite color combination comes as a huge surprise to me: pink & blue. I can’t get enough of it!
And I’m liking almost any variation of pink or blue.
But hot fuscha and a deep inky blue is probably the one I love most. I nearly died when I saw this room from the latest Elle Decor:

We’re back in business, folks! And thank goodness because not being connected makes me all jittery. I hate that it does but it does.
Anyhoo, I’ve got my iMac all plugged in, which means I finally have access to my stash of blog images, which makes me oh so happy. As I was going through them today, I was really drawn to all the bright pink.
I know pink is a tough color for anyone with males in their household but I want to find a way to incorporate it somewhere in the new house.
But before that I need to finish unpacking. I’m up to my eyeballs in STUFF and totally exhausted but it’s slowly getting there.
(Thank you, Susan, for reminding me that it doesn’t all have to be done in one day. You don’t know how much I needed someone to remind me of that!)
My mom is flying in tomorrow to tell me what to do I mean, help. She’s a total dynamo (I apparently inherited the slacker gene from my dad) so she’s going to whip this place into shape in no time.

I’m loving this kitchen for so many reasons – all the white, the great use of space with the very shallow open shelving, the black and white accessories with pops of pink and . . .
a pink sink! I would have never in a million years thought of color for a sink. But why not? I love this idea.
A while back, I had our tiny powder room painted a hot pink. (Photos forthcoming, I promise.) It’s the only room where the walls aren’t white because well, I’m a fan of white walls. But now I’m seriously considering painting one of the walls in my studio a shade of pink like this:

and I actually like how it looks with red:
I think I’m subconsciously delaying tackling my studio by throwing in yet another curve ball. But I really do like the idea. What do you think? Too much?
