Happy 2014!

I hope you all had a good holiday. It’s a new year which means FTRB is also another year older. It seems impossible that I published my very first post exactly five years ago! Where does the time go??

FTRB went through some major changes in 2013 and for a while there, I wasn’t sure how things would pan out. But I was in a blogging rut (it was going around!) and it was either make a change or give up blogging altogether. Well, I’m glad I didn’t hang it up! It took a bit of time but I feel like I’ve gotten into a nice groove with the new incarnation of FTRB. I have a lot of plans and ideas for the coming year and I’m excited to share them with you.

So to all my long-time readers, thank you so much for sticking with me all these years and if you’re new here, welcome, I hope you’ll stay a while.

Happy new year to you all! Here’s to another year of nesting, inspiration and new adventures!

  1. Ally congratulations to you. I for one am glad you did not give up. I wish you continued success as you start this next new chapter. No one lives life quite like you do. You bring to me what I cannot experience for myself along with a huge side of design savvy. Happy 2014! xx

Ally, wish you a fabulous 2014 off and on-line :)
I am so happy you didn’t stop blogging. It was only 2 weeks ago when I found your blog and it really inspired me for my own when I needed it the most.
I also blog about design and my travels but never considered mixing the two as you do. So thank you for the inspiration and your lovely posts!

Thanks so much for taking time to comment! I read every one and reply through my own comments.
