Illustrated Floor Plans of Favorite TV Shows

I obviously love looking at houses and while the decor is the first thing I look at, I also love seeing floor plans. I think that’s true for most people who are into houses. And I think it’s also true that when people like us watch tv, we don’t just watch what’s taking place, we’re looking around at the set design, right?  Well Spanish artist  Iñaki Aliste Lizarralde has taken that one step further and illustrated the floor plans of some popular tv show. The details are amazing.

Remember the awesome apartment in Will and Grace?

And of course, everyone (women, anyway) loved Carrie’s apartment in Sex and the City:

A personal favorite of mine is Lorelai and Rory’s house in Gilmore Girls because I thought everything about that show was the cutest:FROM THE RIGHT BANK | www.fromtherightbank.com

You can see larger versions of these as well as the homes from Three’s Company, Golden Girls, Frasier, Friends and many others on his site. He also has prints of them for sale.

Enjoy your weekend everyone! We’re having the most beautiful spring weather so I can’t wait to spend some time outside. See you Monday!

It’s so funny that Lorelai’s house has 3 bedrooms–why? I mean, I don’t recall that bedroom ever getting used or shown in the show, right?

      Hello.
I am the author of these floorplans.
In theory Lorelai’s house has only 2 bedrooms (one for her and the other one for Rory) but if you see the house from the otside thera are too many windows.
I prefer to draw Rorys bedroom in the ground floor as appears in the show and use the upper floor to place two bedrooms:
      - The smallest one is Lorelai’s bedroom as appears in the first episodes.
      - The bigger one is the new bedroom of Lrelai as appears in the last seasons.
Also in theory they make a makeover in the original bedroom to transform in the new bedroom but the structure of both bedrooms are very deifferent so I asume that they make a new bedroom for Lorelai leaving the old as guest bedroom.
Seeing the exterior of the building can you think that there is only one bedroom upstairs ???

This is really awesome! As a teenager I was obsessed with drawing floor plans, so this totally brings back memories. I remember how fascinated I was by the Friends apartment. Will and Grace’s apartment really was decorated beautifully.

Thanks so much for taking time to comment! I read every one and reply through my own comments.
