This Week’s Tweaks
Remember when I said that this year I wanted to post more of my decorating process? Well, I meant it. And I’m starting with a new series, This Week’s Tweaks, with all the little steps, the nitty gritty and the tweaks that I’m constantly making around the house. Here’s the first post in the series. I hope you enjoy it!
So this is pretty typical of all the tweaking that goes on at FTRB HQ in any given week. I think it’ll be fun for me to document and you can see just how crazy I really am.
It looks like it’s going to be a working weekend – breaking down the showhouse, picking up some new purchases for the shop and organizing/decorating the FTRB office with that new sofa! I also need to get ready for a trip to Chicago next week. Brrrrrrrrr! What have you got planned?

Love these little peaks into the ‘tweaks’. Is the fabric on the sofa original or did you have it reupholstered?
It’s the original! I can’t wait for you to see the whole thing. It’s out there!
OMG! what fabulous posts from this week! i too, love Ilse Crawford and the ivy photos were outrageous! Love following you! you are my daily dose!
best, Jamie Herzlinger
I love this idea!! What’s the secret to the fiddle leaf?? I just for one about a mos ago and got some tips on blogs and so far so good but would love to her yours? I’m notoriously bad at keeping plants alive out last tree lasted a yr and my succulents last about 3-6 mos
I’m the worst with plants but the fiddle leaf figs have done really well. The only thing I’ve done is to keep them in a really sunny spot and water them only once every 7-10 days. Good luck!
Great idea to do a tweak post – love it! This weekend is all about chilling – we are exhausted from 3 days of snowboarding last weekend with our kids (who ski) – and we were with 3 other families, so it was nonstop – but fun!
