I have a whole wall of bookcases I have been thinking of painting black or dark gray. But it’s a commitment – I would not want to change my mind and have to paint the whole thing again. But then I see something like this and think I should go for it.
I totally know what you mean. That’s why mine are all white even though I’d love to go for a bold color.

That black paintwork! My living/dining room has 5 floor to ceiling bookcases, but I fear the effect in an Oxford Victorian cottage might not be quite the same…

I love the bookcases and the floor, as well as the ceiling! Not sure how they manage to keep it so tidy with two kids, but perhaps that was for picture-taking day…
