Clusters of Paper Lanterns
Thank you for all the nice comments about the showhouse yesterday!
One of the things I need to sort out for it is the lighting. Right now, there is just a tiny little ceiling light and two sconces. There is no electrical on the porch but I know I want to use clusters of lanterns like this.

Anyway, it’s such a great way to add texture and visual interest. Look at this room:
It’s sort of crazy but in such a good way!
So one of the things on my list today is to see how many lanterns I can find. Ikea, party store….. is there anywhere else I should check?

I adore the look of papern lanterns. I got three cool shapes from ikea a while back but really have no where to hang them….crazy me.

I love making outdoors as magical as indoors…like hanging small chandeliers from tree limbs.
The outdoor lanterns makes one smile.
OHHHH Love the cluster!! So whimiscal… LOVE. Don’t know of your time frame but there are so many cheaper resources online. I generally buy them in downtown LA so I know that is no help to you!

I would like to do this in my back yard for a party this year…so cool! Tjmaxx/Marshall’s had a bunch of these lanterns (from storehouse) on clearance for $5 ! In lots of diff colors too! You should swing by.
