My November in Pictures

On the whole, November was a really fun and inspiring month. The weather has been gorgeous lately and I can’t get enough of the fall light and colors.

I also took in some great art this month at the Fast Forward exhibit at the High:

This piece, My Vows by Annette Messager, was one of the highlights. If you’re local and haven’t seen the exhibit yet, I highly recommend it. Kline, Matisse, Rothko, deKooning…. they’re all there.

There was a lot of good eating both at home and out and about…..

Then it was a great if somewhat strange few days in my favorite city, New York, where we had this incredible view over Central Park from our hotel room:

What I wouldn’t do for this view everyday!

As usual we ate well and took in some shows, including Chaplin:

Fantastic!

My favorite shots from the trip taken from the backseat of a taxi:

Back home, I took a weekend-long Photoshop class which is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time.

I have so many ideas to take this blog to the next level and now I’m armed with skills to do it. You’re going to be seeing some great new things on FTRB in 2013!

But before we get to that, December is upon us and it is going to be one crazy month – crazy in a good way. For starters, I’m finally going to visit Burma (Myanmar)!  It’s been at the top of my bucket list for years and it’s finally happening so you can imagine my excitement. After that, we’ll be going to DC to spend Christmas with my family and you know how much I love Christmas. So in short, there is a lot to look forward to next month.

I’ll be telling you more about everything next week. In the meantime, have a great weekend, guys!
