Bookshelves Over Doorways
I’ve been seeing more bookshelves surrounding doorways and really like how it can make a small space feel really cozy and intimate. It’s perfect for a room like the library above.
Or, if you’re short on space, extending the shelves to the ceiling and using the area above doorways (which is usually empty) is a great use of space.
I love the feel of this space! It looks like just a pass through area but with clever shelving, transformed into a great place to hang out.

I kind of LOVE this look. So collected and eclectic. If only I had the room!
