Homes I Love: Colorful and Elegant in Barcelona

I’ve been posting a lot of Spanish interiors recently and what’s drawing me to them is the sense of joy they convey. There’s a lived-in feeling without sacrificing sophistication or good design that I find more and more unique to Spanish homes. This house designed by Maria Llado is a great example.

You really can’t go wrong with iconic midcentury furniture, antique chandeliers, interesting art and amazing architectural details.

I also think this house has the best bathrooms ever. The color combinations, the Venetian mirrors, art, rugs, velvet drapes….. I would now like a red bathroom please. Thank you.

I’ve pinned this dining room before. Love it!
I’m with you on the bathrooms, they are awesome!!! Every day you’d feel like a queen!!!
I like this blend of styles and touches of bold bright colors. I love that unexpected hallway-staircase with a fireplace also the breakfast area in the kitchen.
Thanks for these- all of them ! I’m really drawn towards these type of spaces lately..white walls, bold pops of color, touch of gold, Knoll ..feels very “now”. Loving your posts!
