More Vacation House Inspiration from the San Giorgio, Mykonos

Is it obvious I have vacations and vacation homes on the brain this week? I recently saw these photos of the San Giorgio Hotel in Mykonos and it had to go straight into my vacation house inspiration file.

Remember one of my favorite vacation house styles was the Greek Islands? The interior design of the San Giorgio is the perfect FTRB global modern take on that style.

Plenty of white (of course) with ethnic textiles and accessories from around the world and a mix of modern and rustic furniture all work really well with the architecture.

It’s also very similar to my #1 favorite vacation house style. It’s one that could translate to almost any oceanside location – which is the plan!
Have a great weekend, everyone – maybe hanging out in a spot as idyllic as that last shot? See you Monday!

SOMEDAY, I will get to Greece. I will rest in a beautiful and romantic white walled home, while overlooking the bluest of seas…
Can that someday be RIGHT NOW?!?! : )
LOVE the idea of the neutrals indoors and diffuse light when you know the outside is very bright and vivid. Delicious contrast. Great post thx!
This would fit me! Fresh interiors with white, old wood and ethnic details. Love the reception! I have heard that Mykonos is a great place for vacations. It is on my list since now!
Oh. My. God. To die for – there is literally nothing I don’t like! Thanks for sharing!
Wow! The lighting, rugs and pillows against the white! truly amazing!
stunning interiors…thank you for sharing… xv
I love the modern + rustic mix too. It works so well in a place where you have such stunning scenery.
That pendant light in the fourth picture is great. I usually stick to floor and table lamps in a bedroom. Maybe I should rethink that approach.
