On My Radar: Portuguese Fishing Huts As Vacation Homes

A couple of weeks agoย I talked about how much I appreciate traditional dwellings being adapted for new uses. ย Here’s another great example. This beautiful vacation home in Portugal is really a compound made up of four traditional fishing huts.

What’s so wonderful about it is all of the natural materials and refurbished pieces are a perfect fit for the environment and the spirit of these structures.

It also reminded me of this awesome cover of Elle Decor from January this year:

This was also a Portuguese fishing hut. I’m intrigued.
