Living Room Corner Two Ways

If you were on Facebook this weekend you saw my fiddle leaf fig tree status report and this corner of our living room. (I still can’t get over how well the fig is doing!)
Well, I wanted to show you what is on the wall of that corner. I’ve been shuffling art all over the house and at one point, I had this seascape there:

It replaced the two larger paintings that were there before. The scale was a little small but I still liked it.
For a while.
Now I’m trying out this larger floral painting:

I’m liking it better.

For now.
P.S. That brass floor lamp is from that epic Currey & Co. warehouse sale I mentioned before. Man, I can’t wait for that sale to come around again!

I love the fiddle leaf fig–where did you find it? I think the larger painting looks great and it reflects the orange in the chair quite well. I’m constantly moving things around in my house and it drives my husband nuts!
Home Depot.
I actually like the smaller painting! From the picture the smaller scale doesn’t seem to compete as much with the plant and the lamp and it allows the beautiful wall paneling to shine.
That’s why I liked the smaller painting originally. I’m sure it’ll change back or to something else in the very near future!
I’m totally like you… always switching things around. It’s ok though, keeps things feeling new and fresh, right?
toughie. i like the colors in the seascape for right there but the size of the larger painting is better. what’s a gal to do…

Slightly prefer the first one but both look beautiful!
Great combination of different styles, colors and sizes! I like smaller painting better too. It goes better with all the elements of this corner.
I love the orange chair!
I can see why you keep switching out the art. Either painting works scale wise but bring something different to that corner.
