Kelly Wearstler Does It Again

Warning: you’re going to be seeing this house everywhere if you haven’t started to already but it absolutely must go into my virtual files AKA my blog. So….. just the other day I was thinking it had been a while since I saw a residential project from Kelly Wearstler and wondered whether she was moving away from interior design to focus on her fashion and accessories line. Then bam, Elle Decor publishes this amazing home she designed on Mercer Island, Washington. Oh. My.

It’s just stupendous!!! Obviously it always helps to have an astronomical budget (which they obviously did here) but the woman is also fearless and so creative. I can’t wait to see what she does next.
P. S. I’m going to the monthly Scott Antique Market today so give me a holler if you’re going. And if you’re not, I’ll be on Facebook and Twitter with any interesting finds.

Totally in LOVE with every SINGLE image! The drama of the black is stunning! Thanks for sharing!
A-MA-ZING! Black grey and copper splendor!
She is absolutely amazing. I had seen (and Pinned) that first shot but hadn’t seen the rest of the shoot. AMAZING. Thanks so much for posting this!
I feel bad saying this because I love Kelly Wearstler but I find this house a little depressing.
So stunning and sophisticated with the black/ white palette!
