To the City By the Bay

www.fromtherightbank.com

Good morning, everyone, I’m heading out to San Francisco today for a quick trip. We’ll be visiting with the in-laws, meeting up with some very old college/grad school friends (man, are we getting old!) and making a jaunt up to Napa in between. As great as all that’s going to be I’m equally excited about getting away from this heat and humidity! You know what Mark Twain said about San Francisco in the summertime…..  So I’ll speak to you tomorrow from the City by the Bay! Oh and if you have any good new decor/design shop recommendations, please leave them in the comments.

If you’d like to follow along on my trip, I’ll be on Instagram (@FromTheRightBank) and Twitter.

Check out March Pantry on Sacramento, Coup d’état for fabulous antiques and vintage finds, roast chicken at Zuni Cafe off lunch.

I’m a Napa native so I know the valley very well.. In St Helena check our Erin Martins shop on Main Street, she’s partnered with Coup d’état. Have lunch or dinner at French Blue in St Helena or Thomas Kellers Ad Hoc for a picnic lunch.

You’re in my neck of the woods, well, not far anyway, I live in San Jose. I love San Francisco and am ashamed that I don’t get there very often. Sometimes we take for granted what is in our own backyard. Enjoy your trip!

Welcome to foggy city. Have a great trip. It’s cold in the mornings and late afternoons here right now but you should see some sun in the middle of the day!

Check out Anthem on Sacramento Street. My absolute favorite. Not really brand new but an absolute delight to browse in. Have fun!
