Metallic Woven Straw Wallpaper

I have been dying over Crezana’s Liquid Metal Madagascar wallpaper so I’m so excited that we’re going to be using it in the Chicago project.

As pretty as it is in these photos, the texture is just unbelievable in person. It comes in five color ways and all of them are absolutely stunning. We’re using “Mercury” which you see in the top picture and here:

and here:

It’s a mix of silver and gold and straw and I love it so much, I want to cover my entire house in it. I won’t. But I’d like to.
I am so behind on updating you on all of my projects, I’m hoping to catch up this month. My mom has also just arrived for a visit so that means we’ll be cranking out lots of projects at home too so stay tuned!

I’ve admired that top image since I first saw it. Is it actually a grasscloth or is the substrate linen or burlap? I wanted to experiment to see if I could recreate a similar effect on my own.
It’s called woven straw and it’s actually straw as far as I know.
Oh, the texture. This paper will be fabulous and I can’t wait to see it in your application, Ally. Are you using the silver or gold tone?
Agreed – the paper is gorgeous. What wonderful texture!
Love how the wallpaper layers with the leather chair, flowers, everything in the room!!
This is double love for me. I love textured wallpaper and I love metallic’s. Combining the two is awesome!
Thanks for the great post!
This is stunning!
stunning! the texture makes me want to run my hands over it (though I’m sure that’s not the best idea!) Forwarding along to my designer friend…
These wallpapers are absolutely stunning! What a depth!
I love that paper, ally and envy you for being able to install it. donna
Wow – that is truly stunning! + I’m not even always a wallpaper person. Love it! Can’t wait to see the results!
