Fancy Greenhouses and Sheds
I saw the most beautiful old greenhouse at Scott’s last week and was so tempted but it’s not exactly the kind of thing you buy on impulse – it was over $3,000. I haven’t stopped thinking about it though…..it would be so fun to have one in the backyard as a hangout space like these.
Remember when I wanted a shed? I guess a greenhouse is not that different – it’s like a shed with skylights. I’d also take a treehouse with huge windows like this:
Isn’t this gorgeous? Like a playhouse for grownups. I hope you get to do some playing this weekend. I definitely plan on it! See you all Monday!

Thanks for this post. I sometimes lament that our rooftop sun room is too small (we couldn’t get the neighbors on board for permission to build something bigger). But looking at these photos makes think I could re-frame the issue: it’s a rooftop “treehouse”, darn it. Much better!
