Lavender Rooms + Discount Fabric Sources
I haven’t mentioned it in a while but – alert the presses – I’ve made up my mind to do it!
You know when something is on your mind you start seeing it everywhere? That’s the case with me and lavender right now.
It shows up a lot in Steven Gambrel’s rooms:

And I just love this couch even though it’s probably closer to pink than lavender:
It’s going to take 12+ yards so I’d love to find a discount source. I haven’t been able to find what I’m looking for at my usual go-to’s which are:

Have you tried onlinefabricstore.net? I’ve ordered some fabric and pillow forms from them and they were great. Since you are in Atlanta, I assume you’ve checked out Lewis and Forsyth Fabrics. They can be hit or miss. Good luck!

I wish I could help you on the fabric. I struggle too with trying to locate good fabrics and a good prices. Most often times I stumble across them when I don’t need it…I’m sure you’ll find something. Can’t wait to see.
I like your pics very much event not being the great admirer of lavender. This shade makes the interior so sophisticated!

Yay! I know that you won’t regret it. Please don’t be offended but have you looked at ebay? designerfabrics*rr has a big selection and some lovely pieces. I didn’t scan to see if they have what you are looking for though. I also have had luck with the dealers on British ebay but that would up your shipping costs. Just a thought. Good luck!
I did check ebay!!! (Offended? No way!) Sadly didn’t find anything though.
I too have fallen under the spell of lavender. I just bought two lavender lamps for my bedroom and my plan is to paint one wall in the same tone.
