Art Walls, Part 16

I realized the other day that all of my current clients are big fans of art walls – which totally makes sense considering I’m just a wee bit obsessed with them. I could seriously spend every day sourcing art and assembling gallery walls. Like these:

I also got the nicest note from a reader the other day who found this wall at the Bedford Spring Resort and was nice enough to send me a photo:

Don’t you love the stripes? (Thanks again, Jenny!) If you see any great art walls and want to send them my way, I’d love to see them!

I have a very large and empty wall behind the sofa in the living room that I have been wanting to make into an art wall. I have been hesitant because the art is a real mish-mash of things I love. I see from the pictures here that it isn’t about “matching” things, just how you hang them. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have always liked this “system with no system” way of hanging art works on the wall but newer felt like having a talent to govern it. Nonetheless I like these walls so much!

I’ve been fortunate to spend a bunch of nights at Bedford Springs Resort, and they absolutely do have some amazing art walls! Right when you walk in, there is a beautiful wall of art – all historical and pertaining to the history of the resort.

The picture that the previous poster sent to you was actually the desk of President James Buchanan, who made the resort his official “summer White House” – and yes, you can actually sit at the desk! Buchanan also received the first transatlantic cable in 1858 while staying at Bedford Springs. I would definitely recommend it!

Love all these frame walls! I love the floor to ceiling frame collages. I think this is great for rentals, if you can’t paint. Adds color to your walls.
