Two Really Cute Kids’ Rooms

Not having children of my own, I’m normally not that interested in kids’ rooms but as I’m working on one as part of my Chicago project, I have a newfound interest in them. I recently saw these two in vtwonen that I think are pretty great.

The use of colors in the one above is fantastic. I love that it’s filled with art and how it all ties in with that cute Orla Kiely throw and that beautiful shade of blue on the Eames rocker. (The only thing I would do differently is to use a rug with softer colors.)

Who wouldn’t want bunk beds like these? It’s such a great design and that wallpaper is the perfect touch. (That paper in the hallway is pretty great too.)

I think there may have been a problem earlier today but it seems to be okay now from what I can see. Can you try refreshing your browser then 1) clicking on the homepage and 2) clicking on any post then 3) check your reader again?

After that, if you continue to have problems please let me know and I’ll look into it some more. Thanks!

First one is totally adorable! The second . . . I like the wall papers, I like how the space is used but. I am scared even with two level bunk beds – kids are not sleeping calm all the time, sometimes they make quite extreme movements while sleeping . . .

These are great! I especially love kids rooms that don’t scream kids and can transition into the future…they don’t stay kids forever!
