My February in Pictures

So up until this horror of losing my blog and having to piece it back together, my February was looking pretty good! Here are some moments from my month captured in photographs.

(For those of you new to FTRB, I’m doing this once a month as part of my Living La Belle Vie series.)

Looking back at these pictures, it made me realize that’s another good reason for appreciating the little things; when horrible things happen (like your blog getting hacked) it makes you appreciate all the good things in your life.

On the topic of appreciation, thank you all for the encouraging comments yesterday. They all went missing somehow in rebuilding the site but I did read them and they really made me feel so much better so thank you!

As you can see, I was able to retrieve all my posts (hallelujah!) but most of the images are still missing. I’m working on getting those restored next. More finger crossing! But at least things are looking up.

Happy March, everyone. Spring is just around the corner!

Oh! I saw that “hello world” post in my reader but had no idea… Good luck with restoring the blog, and other than that – your month looks great (coffee and pancakes… yum.)

I can’t believe your blog got hacked! I was so upset for you!!!! Your blog is my favorite! I love these pictures you took. I want that LONDON tray in the first photo. I really hope I get to London someday!! :)

Love that you are capturing beauty in the everyday, and that precedes all the not so pretty. Although, that is an understatement, getting your blog hacked is just plain cruelty. j hope you recover it all with little stress. Vie

In spite of all of the recent stress, you are surrounded by so much beauty and that’s worth remembering. And, though I didn’t chime in yesterday, bad karma will certainly come around to the hacker who did this to you. I can’t imagine a blog world without FTRB!

Ally, I’m so sorry to hear about the hack! I’m crossing my fingers that you get everything back up and running. Thanks for continuing to post!

At first, I was so happy to see that first photo because I knew that post card came from Sweden (a friend’s been living there so I’m now familiar with their charming illustration style). But then I went on to read about the hacking. Wow, Ally. That is so horrible – so sorry to hear! Keep up the positive energy. Your posts and blog are beautiful.

Hi friend. Just wanted to let you know that I am still sending lots of good energy for the rebuilding process. I am still so shocked. Especially when I see all of the good that you are doing with your posts–these photos are absolutely beautiful!!!
