FROM THE RIGHT BANK v.4.0 (I think)

Good morning, everyone! How was your weekend? I spent almost all of mine in front of the computer redesigning the blog. I think it’s the fourth design in three years which isn’t too bad considering how frequently I change my house around! So what do you think? It’s not radically different but it feels better organized and I’m all about organization these days.  In addition to the layout, I updated the About page and the Consulting page.

If you read FTRB through a reader or via email, I’d love it if you could click over to see the site and give me any feedback. Thanks!

The other thing I worked on was getting the shop updated. Yup, Goods FROM THE RIGHT BANK finally got an update. I changed systems and scaled it way back  because otherwise it was never going to get done. The new shop site can be found here. It’s currently stocked with what’s left of my haul from my December trip to India.

In between marathon computer sessions, it was takeout and movies here:

I decided to leave the fairy lights (from Christmas) strung around the bookcase in the family room. I’m trying to control myself and not string more around the whole room. I just love them so much!

I’m working on the family room today (item #2 on my 2012 To Do List) so we’ll see if it gets any sparklier!

I like your new About page very much (in fact, you’ve given me a few ideas…!)
I’m working on my new website at the moment, and then I want to update the blog too – it does take a lot of energy – and time! – doesn’t it?
Anyway, congrats – you did a great job!

Wow! Yep, making a lot of sense to me and always, you are ahead of the curve with your typeface mix. Very cool and accessible–as are the about and consulting pages. They definitely will incite folks to contact you!

The only thing that I miss before was the larger button with the photo for your shop. If people have a visual inkling of what is on offer, they probably will be more tempted to click and then to buy. :)

    Bisous,
    Heather
