Gorgeous Swedish Home Ready for Christmas

I seem to be into Christmas more than ever this year (if that’s possible) and I think seeing all these beautiful Scandinavian homes decorated for the holidays is partly the reason. Like the Danish one from a couple of weeks ago, this Swedish home just gets it right.

Are you in the Christmas spirit yet?
I’m going to spend the weekend trying to finally kick whatever this virus is so I can stop whining about it. (Can you tell I never get sick so when I do it’s like a really big deal?) Wishing you all a wonderful December weekend!
P.S. If you haven’t already left a comment on my “Creating an Entertaining Space†Ideabook at Houzz, I would really appreciate it! Each comment is a vote for me and if I win, you could win a $250 gift certificate to any online retailer of your choice. Merci beaucoup!

Wah! I’m frustrated! Houzz isn’t letting me register so I can comment. What is going on?
Love your holiday house and this one, too. Although, the art in this house is just a little sinister.
Thanks for letting me know. A bunch of people have said the same thing so I’m going to look into it. As for the art, that’s what I really like about this house!
I love the floor cushions in front of the fireplace. Cozy and I like cozy. Now off to Houzz and have a fabulous weekend.
You know what? That first photo totally made me think of YOUR house! So pretty. But I have to agree with Angela, some of that art would give me the heebeejeebee’s in the night.
I am NOT in the spirit yet! And I LOVE Christmas! What on earth? Feel free to slap me to my senses…
i too am more into christmas this year. i can’t wait to get my stuff out of storage!
I wonder if it’s something in the air?
Have a good weekend, Amy!

Here in Spain I dont feel yet like Xmas, even though streets already with Xmas lights. I guess I need snow:) I am going home soon, up to north,so hope I will get into Xmas mood!
Oooh woow great inspirations!!
Have a lovely weekend!
How fun to see a lovely Swedish house here today. I am of course totally biased..!
I love the toned down aesthetic of a Scandi Xmas and this place got it just right.
The pine cone branches on the table are fantastic. Love nature inside.
I am hopping across to Houzz now to read your post. Hope you win. xx
Warm regards from the far North

I love, love, love that striped rug in the first picture…
We have had out of (country) guests and now that we have the house to ourselves again, I must start thinking of Christmas decorating ! And to make it more difficult, it is Summer here.
So far I have thought of some white flowering plants and candles.
My mind is mush these days … Happy Holidays

Christmas is crawling up to D´Box (what i called my house- coz it’s a lil one) now too. But, being away from home (Philippines), I don’t have huge family here, so it’s less stress.
For me, having some Christmas decos at home, is just a spirit of the winter holidays and it’s too cozy, in a way.
Hope you have a great Sunday and a blessed week to come.
Greetings from a dark & chilly Stockholm,

Dang, another winner! I just want to move right in. Or at least go to a Christmas party there!
