A Higher and Wider Look at My Living Room

I think I got a little ahead of myself yesterday when I said I’d be telling you about a new project today. It’s going to have to wait until tomorrow but I can tell you it involves my living room which I’ve been reshooting since the big reveal last month. I especially like how this first photo turned out so I wanted to share it you.

This one also gives you a better idea of the entire space:

Would you believe I shot these with my iphone?! It’s wider than the wide angle lens on my SLR so I was able to fit more of the room into the frame. Incredible.

Okay, more tomorrow. I swear.

ally, the wide angle makes all the difference. pretty jealous of your chandelier. my favorite thing is how the orange mod chair and lucite table kick up the traditional elements. where do I find a lucite piece here in the south? or did you order? I have always wanted one for a mix with my traditional pieces. thanks, donna

Perfection in every way. I know I have told you before, but I am wild about your paneled living room!
The orange mod chair is a great balance for the french arm chair. The two vases on the mantle with multiple openings are really wonderful. Can’t wait for more pics.

@Donna. Lucite coffee tables? I know that Wisteria had one that was fabulous. I waited too long and they are not in the current catalog or on line. They are getting them back in stock soon. (I was in the store and talked to the designer) It is on my Christmas list for sure.

Wow! I loved the previous photos you published, but when I saw that first one, I almost didn’t recognize the space. Isn’t it amazing how perspective changes things (huh, true for both photographs and life I guess!). Enough rambling — the space is tres gorgeous. Can’t wait to see more!
