Today’s Crush: Christian Lacroix Forum Throw Pillow

It seems I can only go a few months without mentioning Christian Lacroix. I really do love everything he does. Most recently, I came across his Forum Throw Pillow (referring to the Forum in Arles, France) and now I can’t stop thinking about it. (Heather: this post is for you!)

I think I love the striped reverse as much as the front:

It’s available from Designers Guild.
P.S. I included this pillow in a roundup of “Finds for the Travel Addict” for Houzz. They have asked me to share some of my favorite finds so I’ll be doing that monthly over there if you’d like to check it out.

Hooray!! And yes, of course I love it and can hear people chatting from the cafés on the Forum as I type. The CL boutique here put all of the fabrics on display in the window for a few days and they really are exceptionally well done. But, Forum is by far my favorite.
It took me a moment to understand that the images are actually a hodgepodge of Arles’ greatest hits.
Maybe you will need to train down on one of your visits and see for yourself?

Oh, really? That’s so interesting – you can’t really tell that from these photos. Now I want one more than ever! P.S. I’ve been to Arles a couple of times and you would not need to twist my arm to pay it another visit!
pillows are EVERYTHING!!!
they can make a sofa or a bed!

so great. they could go anywhere and with anything. and should be in my home!
Oooh, we will spoil you if you do!
One more thing that you will appreciate–look on top of the obelisk. At the time of Louis XIV, there was a sun made out of gold, which was replaced by a rooster during the revolution and something else–an eagle?–during Napoleon. Of course, Lacroix chose the royal version…

Mais oui, he went with the sun!
It’s beautiful!

oh, it’s gorgeous! the back, too. It would look great on my sofa, except then the girls would toss it on the floor and sit on it and throw it around and I’d have an aneurysm
Congrats on the Houzz gig!
