My Crazy New Chair

Just before I left for Europe, I went out to lunch with some friends and the next thing I know, I was coming home with a chair. How does that even happen? I don’t know. Bad influences, I think. (You know who you are!) It’s kind of a kooky chair, I know, but I just couldn’t resist the pattern (elephants!) and the colors. It’s also super comfortable. One of the Frenchies seems to think it’s his new bed. Anyway, I’ve never seen this pattern before and I’m really curious. Do any of you savvy people recognize it?

You find the best things! The patterns is amazing. I’m just reading “Undecorate” and it seems like the kind of chair that will fit right in. How is your experience with shipping such big pieces overseas? I’m still too scared to try…

Everyone needs a comfy chair. I am still sitting in mine which looks very much like yours, without the elephants. Mitchell Gold 1996. I recently read that you should surround yourself with things you love, even if they don’t seem to go with what you have. When I bought my Mitchell Gold (before Bob Williams) couch and chair from Arhaus, it was the most comfortable couch I had ever sat on. It truly was love. It was a long lasting love affair until the couch became so unsightly that I had to do something about it. I tried to redo it. I had another MG slip-cover made at the factory and ordered new MG cushions three years ago and it just doesn’t feel the same. I tried, I really tried. So enjoy the elephant chair while it lasts!
