Oldies But Goodies: A Favorite Atlanta Home

From the minute I saw this dining room on the cover of Veranda last fall (I posted about it here) I was in love this house designed by Turner Davis. Â When I searched for more photos of the house, I found that Holly at Things that Inspire had posted about the house a whole year earlier when it was apparently on the market. I wonder what it looks like now. Â Anyway, so thanks to her, I can show you the photos from the real estate listing.

This is seriously one of the best kitchens of all time. I swear Atlanta houses have the best kitchens.

So classic and modern at the same time. It’s a perfect example of why I am so in love with the homes in Atlanta.

An amazing house indeed. I was lucky enough to see it in person while it was on the market awhile back. Coincidentally it’s back on the market now by the new owners.

You ought to see the house they just completed around the corner. It’s designed by Bobby McAlpine and Melanie is doing the interiors. It’s equally stunning.

Wow, such a gorgeous home. I never get tired of seeing this one. You are so lucky to live in a place with so many beautiful homes. Seattle needs some serious help!

That was a tasty treat for my afternoon. I love that dining room (those chairs, that floor) but I think my favorite is the room with the wood paneling and the orange!! LOVE. When did orange become my favorite color? I don’t think I can deny it anymore.

Le triptyque avec le cheval apporte une belle présence dans cette pièce.
Gros bisous.
I love how, despite all the furniture, there is so much space throughout the house. And those beds!!! After the busy day I’ve had, they look like my idea of heaven right now!

Talk about pretty persuasion. I could almost be convinced to leave NYC for Atlanta if it meant having a home like that!
