Alan Campbell’s Zigzag for the Dining Room?

Like with the chairs I posted yesterday, I’ve gone through a myriad fabric choices for my dining room chairs. One of my top picks as of this minute is Alan Campbell’s Zigzag.

Some call it chevron. Some call it zigzag. I call it a classic – even if it has been somewhat overused in recent years.

And notice how similar it is to the zebra from yesterday’s post?

I tend to go back to certain things over and over and that’s when I know it’s true love and not just a crush.

Even if I decide to pull the trigger, there’s the whole question of which colorway to use so I’m not even close to making any decisions.

But it’s fun to look at all the options in the meantime!

I’ve been a fan of Alan Campbell’s for many years…love this one, and all his geometrics. Colorway: well…I would go for the orange (of course) but it all depends! His prints are so contemporary and yet so classic: very hard to achieve that!

Love it! Elegant but not off-putting. I can’t remember what your dining room palette is…? I was instantly drawn to the green but am afraid that you would get tired of it after awhile? Maybe the second, sand color or the orange?

i would say this is up there with my favorite fabrics of all time! can’t go wrong with any of the colors. total classic.

oooh, I love this so much more than the zebra print! Which color is the main issue – very hard to pick just one. maybe you can pick two? One for the armchairs and one for some accents somewhere? maybe black for the armchairs and yellow for a lampshade?

I have always fancied the chevron pattern, and I agree 100%, truly a classic. Love it on the wall as in your last photo. Ally, hope you had a great 4th? It’s been far too long since I’ve slowed down enough to write and say hello.

    Cheers!

If I would have a vacation and I will stay at a place with this kind of furniture, then I won’t go home anymore…lol…
