Art Walls, Part 10

It’s time for another art wall roundup! This first one is definitely one of the most interesting so far. Look how it starts above the fireplace and is carried over to above the windows. A very clever use of that empty space, don’t you think?

If you missed any of my prior art wall posts, you can find them here.

Dans une des photos il y a un très beau lustre à pampilles… Bisous.
I love seeing these gallery walls. It’s something that I would love to try one day, but I can never seem to get the right combination of frames or find enough of the same.

Those first two images are some of my all time faves! I have to have art walls in my house. I could never limit myself to just a few pieces! Floor to ceiling!

I love the first photo. I have the frames and an idea, I just can’t seem to break my minimalist tendencies. My husband keeps asking me when I am going to hang them. I was planning to go up the staircase with them, but now I am thinking about the bedroom. I just don’t know. As I was washing the footprints and the jelly off the walls in the family room the other day (hooligans) I was thinking about it..but I was also thinking about running out and buying new furniture for the family room. I keep telling myself to stay in one room and finish it because the rest of the rooms will still be there when I am done. Right now, the kitchen is torn up and awaiting the new cabinets. I must finish the kitchen first! I plan on hanging one large painting on the free wall in the kitchen.
I totally hear you – you sound a lot like me! As for the art walls, the first one is hard but once you start, it’s hard to stop!
just checked all your wall posts at once. wonderful!

OOh, I might be stealing from that first photo! And they were all so lovely that j’ai même pas vu le lustre. Doh!
And I am behind in that, yes, pink and gold, so lovely and can go so many ways. I have silk pieces that I picked up in Cambodia and Ouzbekistan (and no, not a suzani) that I hope to be taking out of the trunk soon.
