A Vacation House? How About a Vacation Chateau?
Now that it’s summer for all intents and purposes, all I can think about are vacations and of course, vacation homes. So I hope you won’t mind if that is the topic for my posts for like – I don’t know – the rest of the summer? I’m only kind of kidding. I’m sort of obsessed with them.
One of the places I’ll be traveling to this summer is Paris (I decided the last trip was just too short) so of course I totally have France on the brain. That led me to dig up these old photos of Christian Louboutin’s little *ahem* country home. This chateau is one of several homes he owns all over the world. A man after my own heart.
Yup, he definitely has the right idea.

He is? I’m such a fan! I don’t remember the location of the house but they were published in the US in Instyle magazine quite a while back.

A lovely home. I like the awning over the patio. I need to make something like that for my patio. I’m adding that to my to do list. I’m daydreaming about vacation too. Have a great time!
Where would one purchase long bamboo rods?
Maybe an import store? I bet garden stores may have them too.
vacationing there would be like vacationing in the secret garden movie, or in dreams I’ve had. Absolutely lovely! I would spend the entire vacation looking over every part of that place though!
These places are like frozen in time! I love them..especially the kitchen!
