The Most Charming New Orleans Cottage

This is one of the most charming homes I’ve seen in a long time. Take a look and see if you don’t agree.

See what I mean? There’s not one single piece in this house that I wouldn’t take!

Darling!
ha! when I submitted that (darling) it told me my comment was a bit to short…go back and try again.
Darling, indeed!
How’s that?
What is NOT to love about that place? I would not change a thing…
that VERY worn rug is ME! and almost every case piece is painted gray. doesn’t get much better. donna
Yes I totally agree – it’s very charming.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that rug in no 1 – is it torn/cut/worn or what? Doesn’t matter – I want one!
Thanks for sharing. Hope all is well.
xx Charlotta
Yes, it’s torn in the middle! Doesn’t it look fabulous like that?
Oh…yes!!! Love the white with the bright pieces mixed in, the rug, just everything adds up to gorgeous! Janell
The french antiques are all so pretty- I so need a rounded back settee in my life- love love!
I’m with you… wouldn’t change a thing!
I love that the eclectic touches that set off some of the symmetry in the living room; 2 unmatching console tables flanking the french doors, with 2 different sets of sconces and different lamps, each with different styles of mirrors in a different placement; the random placement of pillows on the settee. I also love the shot of the secretary desk with the yellow apples, the weathered turquoise stool, the pink flowers, the red block-printed pillow on the chair against the soft-grey background.
Oh yeah, it’s love! How perfect is that?
I really love those colors in the last picture
I think it’s missing something…oh yeah…ME!

Loving that torn rug, though I also find it funny. I guess I won’t worry so much that my Persian is totally wonky and more like a parallelogram than a rectangle.
