Ladder for Dressing Room Found!

Last week I mentioned wanting a lightweight ladder for my dressing room and a very kind reader (thank you Brandon @ d.coop!) pointed me to the Inreda from Ikea. It was exactly what I had in mind so I hightailed it down to Ikea the next day and voila, here it is now in my dressing room:

It’s a silver/gray which I want to zhuzh up at some point but for now it’s great just having a ladder! Thanks again, Brandon!

Dressing room with a chandy….how chic!!

And it’s multi-use: for shoes and chandelier bulbs.

I’m a huge fan of sneaking in Ikea every so often into my decor. This here is an example of exactly why you should keep up with this store even if your tastes aren’t modern.
Il fallait bien ça! n’est-ce pas?…

A perfect ladder for your purposes, and it gives the room charming Rapunzel-like connotations, the sense that one must strive to reach your lovely shoes.

Hurray! I was hoping you were going to share where you found one – thanks Brandon!
As we are alike with so many things, I too am ‘altitude challenged’ and I’ve been searching for one of these for a while. Surprisingly Andrew is totally on board with the search too (he’s exactly a foot taller than I am and definitely doesn’t need it) – I have a sneaking suspicion that he plans to overtake the ladder with his fetish for piling clothing everywhere… (maybe Brandon has a solution for that too?)
