Bedroom Perfection
I am positively in love with this room (and the entire house) from the May issue of Elle Decor. There was so much goodness in this issue, I think it may be my all time favorite issue of Elle Decor ever. Did anyone else feel the same way?
Just a short post today as I’m taking a three-day weekend. I know a lot of you are too so have a good one and happy Easter to those celebrating it. See you all Monday!

I love it too..love the painting..and all the books adds a lot of character and interest to the room, it has a masculine but elegant vibe.

have always loved that sort of bed but what especially appeals in this photo is all the books and magazines stacked under it! (i just have to block out the idea of dust bunnies to go with!)
the stacked books and magazines adds such a great touch.

I’m glad that I’m not the only one to say it (especially as I am a relative newbie to your great blog) but this room does seem so you! Clean lines, elegant but not pretentious, depth–love it!
Ps. Just as an afterthought–those eyes in the portrait would freak me out at night!

I LOVE that quilt/blanket on the bed. And because of you, I ran out and got an Elle Decor.
That blanket is perfection! That painting would creep me out at night, though.
