Wallpaper I’ve Been Hoarding

Did I ever show you this wallpaper? I don’t even know who makes it – it was one of those clearance items that I happen to stumble on at Lowe’s a couple of years ago. I still really love it – especially the hand painted look of it – and I’m itching to put it up somewhere.
I had thought about putting it in my dressing room but ended up going a different route. If you missed it, this is what I ended up using:

I still like the paper that’s in there but I may be ready for a change. Â What do you think? Should I leave well enough alone?
I’ve got a few other ideas for the dressing room too. More on that tomorrow.

Oh it would be so lovely to use that wallpaper somewhere Ally. Just lately I’m loving wallpapers with a dark background like this too, and the magnolias(?) are so pretty.

Yes, they’re magnolias which is one of the reasons I was drawn to it. I love magnolias!
Do it! I have been loving dark papers too. It would be so pretty in there.
PS-Love that you hoard wallpaper. Ahhh, I’m not alone.
Hoarders, unite!
I understand the temptation for change, but your dressing room looks lovely. Why don’t you save the beautiful dark paper for another space that might need sprucing up a bit more!!
That paper looks like a painting and would look spectacular anywhere…personally I think it would look great with that mirror on it..try it, you will like it…no doubt
I forgot to add, you might need to rub some gold over the mirror to tone down the stark whiteness.
I think that black wallpaper would look sharp in your dressing room. You seem to have a lot of black clothes, so I think it would go well. It would make the dressing room look fancy I think. lol

I like the lines of the mirror with the lines of the WP. For me….I like what is there…opinions are everywhere though

Gorgeous paper! It’s so moody and romantic…if you have any more, I’d be glad to take a few rolls off of your hands.

I’ll let you know if I do.
i like the wallpaper that’s in there, but have really been loving the darker wallpaper lately. i’m still trying to find the perfect match for my bedroom!
The dressing room really does look nice as it is. I completely understand the fickle nature of decorating though. It’s why I still haven’t done anything to the upstairs hall (I want to paper it) or the guest bedroom (it needs a COMPLETE overhaul!) I just can’t make up my mind!! At least you can pull the trigger (and maybe pull the trigger again in a few months when you change your mind!)
I’m totally in the same boat! The whole rest of my house is in limbo because I can’t make decisions.
I did miss it, and it looks fantastic!
I have a homco mirror that is similar to this one that I sprayed white. Only mine’s so beat up its missing its edges. That’s what happens when you move 7 times

The dressing room looks beautiful. I”d leave it as is and use the new paper somewhere else. My problem would be that I would want everyone to see it so I”d much prefer to use it in a common area. I’m a showoff like that:)

I totally get that.
I love the dressing room the way it is BUT I also ADORE that dark floral beautious paper- is there somewhere else you might be able to use it? If not, I’d definitely put it in the dressing room- too gorgeous to waste.
I think the current choice in your dressing is perfect for that space – simple, restful and classic. It would put me in a good mood whenever I was wrestling with wardrobe decisions. The gorgeous magnolias need a space that is more high profile – entrance hall, study. Lovely dilemma to have.
Ally I love the paper you have used and the darker dramatic…. possibly a powder room?
I have a Giveaway from The Zhush I know you will love! Come & join!
