Can We Talk About Wallpaper (Again)?

There are just so many beautiful wallpapers how’s a girl supposed to choose??
To recap, we wallpapered the powder room last June. I loved it initially but within a few months, I was over it (typical) and I started the search for a replacement. For the past couple of months, I thought I had decided on the Schumacher Fern.

But yesterday I went to look at more papers with Sherry and fell back in love with the Farrow & Ball Wisteria which you may remember I went mad for last year. To make things worse, I now love all these colorways on top of the other ones I already loved.

I also picked up a sample of the Hicks’ Hexagon in another colorway because I’m still in love with it too:

I just love the bit of pink and look how pretty the colors are with the Venetian mirror in there:

Life must be so much easier for people who can just make a decision and stick to it.

Oh, the prettiness! I’m really decisive, usually, but when it comes to decorating our apartment- suddenly making a decision seems so difficult. So yeah, I can relate.
I love the Hicks hexagon in pink, but it’s a totally different look&feel… Is that what you’re going for?
I so live that life of indecision. Paint or wallpaaper, within a year or two, I’m ready for a change. good luck!
Exactly why I cannot go with wallpaper! I tried it in our front hall many years ago, and within a year, couldn’t stand it! No, paint is the only solution for me…so good luck!
Hi Ally,
I’m in the same boat…needing to make some decisions…it really is hard..but luckily for me, I don’t get tired of a look that easily…so once I’ve made my mind up, I’m pretty set… but there are soooo many gorgeous papers out there…
how’s a girl to choose?…
good luck..

I liove everyone of the wisteria papers. Would look lovely and elegant with your mirror. The Hicks, striking but you may tire of that being a a strong print.
i love how the colors in these picks are slightly muted
This is the story of my life- I just don’t have the room or budget to paper everything and there are soooo many papers I love- for you, I have to say I love love the wisteria- it’s so lovely.
Ally…YOU know I feel your pain!!! Count me in on the indecisive part!!! Glad I could help confuse you even more!
For me, it’s always been F&B’s Rosslyn, Wisteria or Peony. I think the colours are incredible and can’t imagine tiring of them!!
Fern. I am thinking that Wisteria is a tad too girlie for you. (Perhaps in your fabulous walk in closet instead?). I don’t know. They are both gorgeous.
Warm hugs,
Mon
I am a little more than obsessed with wallpaper as well.
So, I don’t wallpaper. I could never choose a paper and not constantly think of those I passed up or what was coming out 5 minutes after the glue dried.
Which is odd because usually I’m very decisive and no-regrets about clothes, shoes, jewelry and most home purchases.
Wallpaper…..too many choices to commit to one.
I will say of the choices above I’m def. leaning towards the hex pattern.
I love the Hicks Hexagon, but I am typically drawn to very graphic patterns. Wallpaper decisions are hard, just like fabric all over again-so many amazing choices!
I am the type to get sick of things quick, but I know if I found the right one I would probably love it for quite awhile!
Hey, everybody, I’m glad I’m not the only one who has this commitment problem. It really makes me wonder how anyone ever decides!
Ohhh we can talk about wallpaper every single day and I wouldn’t get sick of it! Love that Hicks’ Hexagon…
Ally – I love your blog and your name
I live in ATL as well, and have been hard-pressed to find some wallpaper I love – Can you share where you have been shopping?
Ali: Thanks! These are all to the trade only so in Atlanta, ADAC is the source.
Oooo I like the first! Nice and light!
I am going with the Hicks’ Hexagon. I think the pink and gray are fantastic together. I just did my spare room in two shades of pink. If you ever saw the movie The Princess and the Frog, it sort of looks like that. I do call it my princess room. I am now on the search for a chandelier for the room!! Good luck
I’m not a big fan of putting up wallpaper but that wallpaper might be worth it! Love it! I’m new to your blog, it was a pleasure to *meet* you today!

Beautiful wallpaper! You’re not alone in your indecisive wallpaper decisions. It’s an expensive habit, I know first hand!
xoxo, B
Ally: I adore the Hicks’ Hexagon and your blog! It is keeping me entertained while I am stuck indoors thanks to the latest snowpocalypse.
In anticipation of your Travel Thursday post, I am wondering whether you have been to Hawaii – specifically Honolulu/Oahu – and whether you have recommendations on restaurants and fun to-dos for twenty-something sisters?
Thanks,
Emily
man, there are so many amazing papers out there—and you were in wallpaper heaven yesterday!
Wow, so inspiring. I can’t wait to go out and find some beautiful wallpaper.
Changes is a woman’s perogative!!
But, I felt my heart leap when I saw the hexagon. Choose whichever makes you feel THAT way!

I wouldn’t be so quick to be tired of the wallpaper you already have. It’s stunning! I love it!
There are just so many pretty choices it makes it so darn hard to make a commitment! That said, I really do love the Hicks…
Hicks would definitely make a big statement and against the mirror its so interesting. But I see you tiring of it quicker than the florals?
