Blue and Yellow Obesession

I’m more than a little obsessed with blue and yellow right now.

And I mean all shades of blue and all shades of yellow.

Usually when I get like this about a color combination, it’s a specific shade of each color but not this time.

I love the whole range from baby blue to navy …..

to turquoise to ink …..

from lemon yellow to butterscotch ….. all of them!

And of course I can’t leave out what has been my favorite room for at least half a year now:

Light blue Chesterfield and yellow Louis XVI’s. I mean really. How could you get any better?

Dans la dernière photo, j’aime la toile au-dessus de la cheminée… elle me paraît magnifique.
La fenêtre de par sa forme aussi est très intéressante.

Gorgeous images! I love the combination too and with so many shades of each it doesn’t have to read French country which comes to mind when you think of blue and yellow.

That last pic is my all time favorite too! Are you going to be doing this combo in a room of yours?
I KNOW! I haven’t been craving yellow for years…but it is so cheerful and modern now. I just got turquoise blue garden stools for my patio with blue hydrangea in dark blue Italian pots…almost Spring here. Loved your photos.
