Grand Hotel a Villa Feltrinelli, Gargnano
Thank you all so much for the really lovely comments yesterday. They were really touching and I appreciate every single one of you. Thank you, thank you!

A new year means a lot of new plans around here, including a full schedule of trips to feed my addiction. (Can you feel me grinning from ear to ear?) Italy is definitely one of my destinations for 2011 and as I was digging around my Italy files, I came across the Grand Hotel a Villa Feltrinelli on Lake Garda.

I’m completely in love with the architecture, decor, setting ….. everything! It’s absolutely exquisite and I thought it was the perfect hotel to be the first of the Hotel Picks FROM THE RIGHT BANK for 2011.

Happy Traveling Thursday and bon voyage!

L-O-V-E! Happy New Year!
Oh, are you inviting me?! It would be so perfect and fun!

looooooooooove this! there is a hotel similar in style, architecture and “feel” back here in Florida, called The Breakers. I stayed once for a work conference, and it was GLORIOUS. Happy trails to you, and HAPPY BELATED BLOGIVERSARY!

LOVE it! I have never been there, But we drove by it several times while visiting the West Coast of Lake Garda last October. Had I known just how gorgeous it was inside, I would have made my hubby take me there for dinner!

We were supposed to go here on our honeymoon!! We started on Maggiore (well actually started in Zurich and drove down) and then to Como (at the lovely Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni) and were then to go here but the weather was so miserable that we just kept driving south in search of sunny skies. We ending up in Nice and Monte Carlo. Clearly I’m sorry we never made it – hopefully there will be a next time!!
