Favorite Color Combination: Black & White

I’ve been playing around with different color palettes for our living room, which up until now has been very neutral. There are very few colors I don’t like but my favorite color combination (if I had to choose just one) will always be black and white.

Whenever I see spaces like these, I think I could be happy living without any other colors in my life. But we all know that’s not true now don’t we?

I agree, Ally it is a classical peaceful combination, but the colourist in me wants to toss in a red cushion or a vase of yellow roses.

I love a black and white combo….I can never do it though, I always end up with wanting color. And I agree with previous comments…love when wood tone is added.

i know! tried going black and white with my studio space. you introduce one colorful book or pillow and then it’s all downhill from there.

I think the wood accents really make these spaces work. I love black and white and its the foundation for most everything I wear and design.

i love this combo too. never can go wrong with neutrals. they say to decorate in the colors you tend to buy clothing wise. i wear a lot of black… thus the love for black and white! have a great weekend ally!

I am a black and white kind of gal myself. But this year I am trying to step outside the box and add some colour. Our new playroom/games room will be my canvas!
