It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

Have you started on your holiday preparations yet? I haven’t and I’m starting to panic a little. This year will be the first year that we’ll be hosting Christmas at our house. (Does that officially makes me an adult? Geez, I hope not.) Anyway, I’m hoping the Christmas table is going to look something like this:

But before that, I need to send out cards, buy gifts, get the guest rooms ready . . .  and of course, I want to decorate!

I don’t decorate for any other holidays but at Christmas, I go nuts and I can’t wait to get started!

And to get everyone in the holiday mood, I’m really excited to announce that on Monday, we will be kicking off FTRB’s 8 Days of Giveaways! As a way to thank all of you for your support and friendship throughout the year, FTRB has teamed up with some good blogger friends and their shops to bring you eight amazing prizes over eight days. So be sure to stop by each day for some truly incredible, beautiful gifts.

Have a wonderful weekend!

hi Ally – that silvery table is beautiful.

I don’t start decorating until the tree arrives on my doorstep which this year is on 10 December. I figure 2 odd weeks is enough time to be Christmassy.

I am having Christmas at home too – 20 people in total . Arrgghhh….

I think we actually share a brain. I realized it when I saw your blinds….then I realized everything you post is genius, and since I am a genius…well, I naturally put two and two together, (that makes twotwo, right?) Anyway, can’t wait to see your decorations! So I can copy you of course, but it won’t be copying, because I thought of it too, just like, right after I saw it on your blog…cuz of our brain connection, remember when I said that? LOVE your style, in case you didn’t get that, but how could you not, we share a brain and all…

The crazy yet fun pre-Christmas panic is what really gets the holiday adrenaline rushing, which in turn, helps (at least for me) the creativity levels to be at their most sparlkliest best! You’ll do great…and yes, you’re now officially in the ‘adult’ catagory, but in a good way! ;)

    Have fun!!!

I love those chevron wood floors! I could never have them in my place, but I would die to afford a place I could put them in!

Decorating this weekend and buying a “small” tree, ya, we’ll see how small! That cat better stay outta my tinsel!
