I Really Need to Stop Looking at Wallpaper

I don’t have enough walls for all the papers I love not to mention the two wallpaper projects (“Views of Paris” paper for the butler’s pantry and re-papering the powder room) that still need to be tackled. But I just have to add Schumacher’s Fern Tree to the list.

I love its neutral hues and the pattern has just the right amount of visual interest. Another reason to love Kelley Wearstler.
And remember a few weeks ago when I told you I came home with a sample of Hicks’ Hexagon?

I was going through my files the other day and found these two old photos from Domino (no, I’m still not over it) and they made me want to use it even more.

Someone please stop me. It’s torture.

..I cannot stop.
..I will not stop.
Don’t stop.
Cheers!
Okay, this is an intervention. Promptly send all of your wallpaper samples to ME!!!! Heh.
Some of these patterns are truly fantastic….maybe combined/framed they could make an interesting art gallery wall? Would allow you to have ALL of them in your home.
Speaking about Hicks’ Hexagon, have you seen Jonathan Adler’s new books yet? He has a huge part of his apartment papered in it, with a carpet that almost looks like a mirror image of the wallpaper- amazing. A little psychedelic, but amazing.
So why not just have an entirely wallpapered home? I love it!
Sherry just used that second one for a client–You need to see her post.
Love those first two… one of my favorites!

At least you’ve come to the terms with the fact that you have an addiction! Ha ha!
Hmmm…which to choose? Both are fabulous! Schumacher’s Fern Tree is one of my faves though!
Victoria: Yes, an intervention is exactly what I need!
Chedva: I flipped through but I need to go look for that!
Milk&Honey: Stop it. You’re not helping!
Shannon: Yup, acknowledging it is the first step to recovery.
you are not alone in this addiction, so i’m no help in any type of intervention! there are so many fabulous patterns out there & for a girl that loves pattern & color, it turns into an obsession. those two are great picks!!
No, PLEASE DON’T STOP POSTING ON WALLPAPER. I am totally in synch with your current obsession, as I am trying to find the perfect (maybe metallic?) paper for my bedroom. Have you look at/died for Porter Teleo yet? OY. I just love it. Please keep up the wallpaper fairy tales
The post title alone made me laugh out loud… I’m glad I’m not alone in my affliction!
That fern wallpaper is fantastic, love it!
There is no getting over Domino’s demise, I’m so glad I saved every single issue I ever got!
excellent choice that fern wallpaper. but it’s not over till it’s over i’m guessing!
These are gorgeous! Love that second one. So modern and lovely.
I completely understand what you mean… but LOOK at the first and second. Love love love… trying to figure where I could wallpaper. You’ve passed the obsession on, Ally!
Hope you’re having a wonderful week*
xoxo
Oh no, don’t stop! Ofcourse you won’t stop, why should you? Lovely ones, as always. Great weekend ally!
Am totally with you – just love wallpaper. In my former house, which I posted a while back, I had a fabulous maps of Paris wallpaper in my powder room – I think people used to spend way too much time in there just studying it!
I feel your pain- I can’t stop looking at new wallpaper- they’re just so much fabulouness out there!
Why stop? These wallpapers are fabulous!
Love your picks. No need to stop the obsession
Oh Ally……you have it bad. I say check in to a hospital and seek help! By the way I do have a huge sample of the fern as I just used it in a foyer…..:)
