I Really Need to Stop Looking at Wallpaper

I don’t have enough walls for all the papers I love not to mention the two wallpaper projects (“Views of Paris” paper for the butler’s pantry and re-papering the powder room) that still need to be tackled. But I just have to add Schumacher’s Fern Tree to the list.

I love its neutral hues and the pattern has just the right amount of visual interest. Another reason to love Kelley Wearstler.

And remember a few weeks ago when I told you I came home with a sample of Hicks’ Hexagon?

I was going through my files the other day and found these two old photos from Domino (no, I’m still not over it) and they made me want to use it even more.

Someone please stop me. It’s torture.

Okay, this is an intervention. Promptly send all of your wallpaper samples to ME!!!! Heh.

Some of these patterns are truly fantastic….maybe combined/framed they could make an interesting art gallery wall? Would allow you to have ALL of them in your home. :)

Speaking about Hicks’ Hexagon, have you seen Jonathan Adler’s new books yet? He has a huge part of his apartment papered in it, with a carpet that almost looks like a mirror image of the wallpaper- amazing. A little psychedelic, but amazing.

Victoria: Yes, an intervention is exactly what I need!

Chedva: I flipped through but I need to go look for that!

    Milk&Honey: Stop it. You’re not helping! :)

Shannon: Yup, acknowledging it is the first step to recovery. :)

you are not alone in this addiction, so i’m no help in any type of intervention! there are so many fabulous patterns out there & for a girl that loves pattern & color, it turns into an obsession. those two are great picks!!

I completely understand what you mean… but LOOK at the first and second. Love love love… trying to figure where I could wallpaper. You’ve passed the obsession on, Ally!

Hope you’re having a wonderful week*

Am totally with you – just love wallpaper. In my former house, which I posted a while back, I had a fabulous maps of Paris wallpaper in my powder room – I think people used to spend way too much time in there just studying it!
