Guest Blogger: The Diversion Project

Hi, I’m Jules from The Diversion Project. Many thanks to the brilliant Ally for having me over for a visit, I’m feeling more than a little bit chuffed to be a guest today.
I don’t know about you, but the thought of composing a gallery wall scares the bejeesus out of me. You too? Well this current trend that I am seeing around and about a lot is for you and I. Galleries of art all collated ever so cooly and ever so easily on narrow shelves. This is a really versatile way to display art and can provide unity to the most diverse range of treasures. Low cost + low degree of difficulty + v.cool look = crazy not to give it a try.

Lovely post, Jules! This is a look I’ve been meaning to try for ages, and you may have given me the final push. It looks beautifully casually chic, and I like the idea of no fussing about with nails in walls and vast possibility of swopping things round.
Completely inspired by this Jules. I have lots of frames waiting to go up in my bedroom…this might just be the solution I’ve been waiting for:)

I would love to do this, but I wouldn’t know where to begin. I need some help with making the selection of pics to showcase. Well done, Jules! Great guest posting.

Hello Jules. Really like your post and subject here. I love the idea of having my living room as a private art gallery. I kind of had it before. I’m such a big fan of having friends over and telling stories about everything, not surprising that I love to have my most adorable possessions and pictures “on display”.
Gallery walls scare me too. I’m too afraid to try. I leave all that to someone else and I stand back and admire.

Oh I know Jules, it’s way cool…but I have a sneaking suspicion I would do something terrible and they would fall like dominoes around me.
Seriously I do love these idea, it is perfect for a diverse range as you mentioned and super cheap and easy to do.
Top post,
