Hello From the Right Bank readers! This is Caitlin from Sacramento Street. It’s a pleasure guest blogging here today. Can you believe Ally is off on another amazing travel adventure? I’m incredibly jealous, but I love that she brings back photos and stories about her excursions.
When Ally asked me to blog about my favorite current trend, my mind wandered. And then I thought ‘who doesn’t love a pop of gold in their wardrobe and in their home?’ Well, I’m totally digging it.
With the holidays right around the corner I’m trying to spruce up my apartment. I’ve been looking for inspiration and what keeps popping out at me is gold (which is something new to me). I’m a silver girl, so I feel like I’m cheating, but alas – when it comes to interior design sometimes trying new things is a good thing. A hint of gold adds a little pizzazz and that’s what I need this holiday season.

I’m a silver girl, too. But I’ve recently started giving gold a second look. And it goes so good with camel, that other color I used to ignore.
