Looking for the Perfect X-Stool
I’ve been thinking about getting a stool for the vanity in the bathroom for the longest time. I know I want it in white and I think I’ve finally decided on the style:
Mermaid Hut ($389)
Ballard Design ($233)
Williams-Sonoma ($795)
The first one is my favorite but I’m not sure it’s the one. (I may want a metal base.) Which one do you like? Have you seen any others that you think I might like?

I think It depends on how much use you will make of it or if it will be more decorative….

I’ve bought several things from Ballard designs and loved all of them – especially my headboard. I would go with that one BUT I kind of agree with you that a metal base would look good. Have you look on 1stdibs? If I spot one I’ll send it to you
