L’Andana, Tuscany

There’s nothing I love more than a beautiful hotel except a beautiful hotel that also has an exquisite restaurant. L’Andana in Tuscany would be one such hotel. Housed in a villa that belonged to the Medicis and developed by super chef Alain Ducaisse (I once took a class at his cooking school in Paris but more on that another time), L’Andana is on my must-do list.

You can see why, right?

Happy Traveling Thursday and bon voyage!

    This is gorgeous. When I was 18, I went to Tuscany with my mom and her family for a family reunion (my great grandmother is from that area of the world). We stayed at a remote Villa that was amazing – this place brings back wonderful memories. I want to go back! {Too bad I am no longer 18 and my parents don’t bankroll my vacations :) !}

    Ally, I can’t believe it! I was born about 25 km from Andana! And I don’t know how many times I’ve driven just past it on my way to the beach…
    It’s a lovely place, they use it a lot for weddings and other events. And tomorrow I’ll fly to Italy to visit my family – and will probably drive past Andana on my way to visit my aunt :)
