Hello, I’m Tonia from Chic Modern Vintage. I am sincerely flattered and honored that Ally asked me to help her out while she’s away. Ally posed the question, “What is your favorite design trend?†After some thought, I have to say that I don’t really follow trend. I love to decorate with what I love. A home should be a direct reflection of the people that live in it. So I chose a couple of things that I love and that seem to always stand the test of time. Mirrored Sunburst and Lucite.
I love this Bone Sunburst. It’s a tad different from the gold ones that we find so often.

A beautiful collection of mirrored sunburst displayed together, they add a spark to any room.
Lucite is a neutral timeless classic that blends seamlessly into any decor style. Always fresh and modern. As shown here in the living room.
Lucite comes in various colors. My favorite color is yellow, such a happy color. Did you notice the mirrored sunburst above this desk/vanity?
I wonder if I would I even eat on this table? It’s so gorgeous.

I do like a good starburst mirror, especially a wall of different styles and shapes grouped together.

LOVE that! That last nook image, I have clipped out and laminated. Have I done a thing to move in that direction, no, but I'm still dreaming! Great post
