Wanted: Low Stools
I’ve been looking on and off for a pair of low stools for the living room. I could also use one in the master bathroom at the vanity.
I don’t think I want the plain X-stools that seem to be everywhere but beyond that I have no idea what I want.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I was out looking for stools today…can't find any. House Beautiful had a good spread last month about stools…they had a cool pouf from CB2 but now it is gone from their website? Bungalow Classic has that awesome moroccan leather one, but it is a pretty penny. Do you definitely want a cushion…or could you use like a wooden, chunky stool or mirrored one? You can tell I have had stools on the brain. Have a good weekend!

oh my. these are wonderful. let me think……believe it or not, I have seen some very similar to these(3rd image) at pier one. clearly you would have to paint them, but they were pretty cool.

Love sturdy flexible little stools, look good, move them around as needed. Sit on them, eat off them, put your feet up on them, used them as step stool. Everybody needs some.

These stools are gorgeous. I saw a pair by SHO by Shine Home and feel in love with them. I think you shoud try vintage shops, thrift and even online, also check out SHO – you may get luckly!!

no matter what style, i always like to see the classic wooden stool, 4 legs and square seat with o hole on the centre (not sure if you know what imean). soon i'll post photos of them that i saw in an exhibition

Have you been to Scott's Antique Market yet? If you live in Atlanta, you MUST go!!! It is once a month and it is amazing!!! I just came from there and got some great stools for my kitchen bar.
Love low stools in a living room. They look incredibly chic and what’s not to love about extra seating? I saw some at Williams Sonoma Home that were amazing – I’d look there. Happy hunting!

Perhaps look for something antique? It's always nice to blend period styles with contemporary. Other than that I am at a loss as well.
