Friday Randomness: Jonathan Adler, Pieces, Africa and Soccer . . .
It was cuteness overload here in Atlanta last night. It was the Jonathan Adler event at Pieces and he was here signing pieces (ha!) from his collections. (I got one of the bowls you see behind him.) He is as adorable and nice as you would think he would be. SO cute! I also met Pieces owner, Lee, who is also as cute as can be. There were some familiar cute faces and I also had the pleasure of finally meeting some other bloggers I’ve only known virtually so far, including Erika, Claire and Julie, all just as cute as can be. I told you, cuteness overload.
I leave you for the weekend with this video that I’m loving right now. I don’t have strong feelings one way or the other about either Shakira or sports in general but I do love Africa, and for some inexplicable reason I really love football/soccer and get totally swept up in World Cup madness every 4 years. This video is just fun and uplifting. Enjoy and I’ll see you all Monday!

I am a huge Jonathan Adler fan too! Sounds like you had a ball at that Pieces affair:-). We go crazy here for football(I'm Jamaican and we call it football, not soccer:-)). I'm surprised the roof of our house is still intact, and who doesn't love Shakira? Happy weekend to you!

Love the bowl, I actually really like Shakira…..I saw her in concert and she was brilliant but, best keep off of the subject of the world cup….England were rubbish and I'm so pleased that Spain won.
So sorry that I've been AWOL but have just got back from staying with my sister whilst our husbands went to LeMans. Hope to be back on track soon. XXXX
