Guest Blogger: A Perfect Gray
Hello, From the Right Bank fans! I’m Donna from A Perfect Gray. I am beyond thrilled to be filling in for Ally, one of my very favorite bloggers and I’m happy to be sharing one of my favorite design trends with you today…
Antique Mirrors
I am crazy for mirrors and especially for antique mirrors. For me, their time worn beauty brings character to a room in a way that no other piece can. When I see a lovely antique mirror in a room, it always stops me in my tracks.

Antique mirrors go perfectly with the bohemian vibe I love right now:

These days, I'm all about the "Grey" as my neutral base. Benjamin Moore has "Hatteras Sand" that is light and warm, and changes as the light and dark in the room alters the view.
It makes all the other colors seem fresh and new.

Fab pics and it is great to see something being used in such an attractive way that would otherwise be discarded. One man's rubbish is another man's treasure ….(or woman)

Hello dear Donna – delightful to find you here!
Yes antique mirrors are fantastic, especially when they come with that smokey, stained glass that just seem to add more intrigue and charm to them.
I so agree that they bring a softness to a room, and a lovely boho vibe, but they look equally fantastic in a stark or modern setting. The love is in the contrast in my humble opinion and you illustrated this very well through your stunning photos.
Wondeful post my dear.

Well Donna, fancy finding you here! You have a great eye. I adore antique mirrors but rarely run into them in shops. Just as well I suspect, would be painful to not take one home.
Great post as always! xx
Antique mirrors fascinate me. The stories behind them, who held them, who looked into them, were they happy? Were they sad? Did they take a quick look before answering the door, or meeting a true love?
Donna so many gorgeous rooms with mirrors Really enchanting!!
