Art Wall Obsession
It’s official. My love of art walls is now a full blown obsession. If you missed any of my previous posts, you can find them here, here, here and here.

Thankfully the issue that this was in is one of the few that I kept so I can drool over it in all its glossy glory.

In that second image, the fact that the top two pictures aren’t quite parallel makes them all the more compelling. Deliberate, I wonder, or did someone knock against one of them. I must go round now and unstraighten my art.

babe, I am with you ALL the way…the are wall in your former dining area is one that started me out in this direction, as a matter of fact. loved the way you did that one. great piece, and yes, that last image is dynamite…. I keep studying these art walls to get what makes certain ones great…is it the spacing between pieces, the frames, the art pieces themselves? FUN…….

I have all of these saved as well, except for number two. And that situation has been remedied already. And your call for more of the same. Girl, be careful what you ask for. I will be sending you a big fat file of images soon. :0)

I love framed artwork and photographs on the wall- especially the photographs. They make a room so much more personal and compelling! I'd love to do something like this on my own walls- I'll keep this post in mind as my inspiration!

Ally, whenever you post about art walls, my heart starts beating extra fast. I think art and books are so important to a home and they tell stories about the home owners. I have yet to do my own art wall. I think I need to build more walls first! (: But until then I already know who has the best images for inspiration! Happy weekend! Ox Mon

Yes! I never tire of this look either. And it's even more dynamic in person I find. So many decorating styles work in 2 dimensions but not in three. But I think this works even better in the real world!

I have always liked black and white photos in the same frame arranged in a grid but am now a fan of a mix of art, different frames, randomly hung.
